On December 27, Ma Zhixing claimed in the official public that at the seminar of Guangdong Province on promoting the docking mechanism of the rules of the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area, the Framework Agreement on Mutual Recognition and Cooperation of Smart Connected Vehicle Demonstration Application Pilot (hereinafter referred to as the "Agreement") was officially signed, and the list of the first batch of enterprises qualified for mutual recognition was announced; Xiaoma Zhixing has become one of the first autonomous driving enterprises to obtain cross regional recognition qualifications.
At the meeting, the Executive Committee of Hengqin Guangdong Macao Deep Cooperation Zone, the Management Bureau of Qianhai Shenzhen Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone in Shenzhen, the People's Government of Nansha District in Guangzhou, and the People's Government of Bao'an District in Shenzhen jointly signed an agreement. According to the agreement, after registering and obtaining pilot qualifications in one place, intelligent connected vehicle enterprises can directly carry out demonstration applications in other mutually recognized regions after reporting, achieving mutual recognition of qualifications; At the same time, these vehicles can be piloted on open roads in mutual recognition areas, promoting further opening and connectivity of roads (including expressways) in each mutual recognition area. The signing of this agreement aims to open up the path of mutual recognition, break down regional barriers, expand the scope of travel, promote the interconnection of the demonstration application pilot of intelligent connected vehicles in the Greater Bay Area, and gradually form the largest urban agglomeration level application practice benchmark in China.
It is reported that in the future, Xiaoma Zhixing autonomous driving demonstration application vehicles will freely shuttle through multiple mutually recognized locations in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area, achieving cross city autonomous driving travel services in major scenarios such as airports and high-speed railway stations. At the same time, Xiaoma Zhixing autonomous driving trucks can also transport goods across cities in multiple mutually recognized locations, achieving more commercial scenarios.
Xiaoma Zhixing stated that this signing marks the deep integration of the autonomous driving industry in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area, and will gradually expand to Hong Kong and Macau, broadening the scope of cross regional mutual recognition. As of now, Xiaoma Zhixing has accumulated nearly 40 million kilometers of global autonomous driving road test mileage, including nearly 4 million kilometers of fully autonomous driving road test mileage.
