OpenAI has hired its first Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), former executive of cryptocurrency company Coinbase, Kate Rouch. Lush joined Coinbase in August 2021, leading global marketing and public relations, and responsible for the company's Super Bowl advertising. Prior to this, she worked at Meta for over 11 years, serving as the global head of brand and product marketing for platforms including Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger, and Facebook. Lu Shi announced on social media on December 3rd that he has taken office on Monday (December 2nd).
