BlackRock announced that it has obtained a commercial operating license in Abu Dhabi and is currently applying for an operating license for the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), with a focus on expanding its AI and private equity market businesses. Charles Hatami, the head of BlackRock's Middle East region, stated that the company will focus on developing its private equity market and artificial intelligence infrastructure business.
