Nvidia Appoints Former NASA Space Center Director as Board Member Nvidia Appoints NASA Senior Ellen Ochoa as Director, Expanding Board Size to 13 Members. Nvidia stated in a statement that 66 year old Ochoa served as the director of NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston and was the first Latinx astronaut to enter space. Huang Renxun expressed his anticipation for Ellen to join the board of directors of NVIDIA and continue to work together to build the future of computing and artificial intelligence.
