Tesla has announced a plan to build a large charging station in Colinga, California, USA, which has 168 parking spaces and is currently one of the largest charging stations under Tesla's umbrella. The biggest feature of this charging station is the installation of giant solar panels, implying that some charging stations will be powered by solar energy.
Elon Musk has always hoped that all Tesla charging stations can be powered by solar energy, believing that solar energy is a panacea for solving energy problems. Currently, Tesla is actively deploying related infrastructure.
Tesla has now deployed a large number of solar panels at many sites to provide energy for charging stations
Tesla officially announced on October 18th that its global total of supercharging stations has exceeded 60000. Currently in China, Tesla has established over 2000 supercharging stations and equipped 11622 supercharging stations, accounting for about one-fifth of its global charging stations.
