On October 29th, it was reported that after JD Logistics joined Taobao and Tmall, Alibaba's Cainiao also joined the JD platform. On the same day, according to insiders close to JD Logistics, after JD Logistics connects to Taobao and Tmall, JD's third-party platform will also connect to Cainiao. Non JD self operated third-party merchants can choose Cainiao Express and Cainiao Large Item Business. It is understood that the service is currently available for use.
The so-called third-party platform, in layman's terms, is JD's non self operated business, which allows merchants to open stores on the JD platform and choose logistics service providers independently.
As early as October 16, the official official account of JD Logistics showed that JD Logistics had reached cooperation with Taotian Group, JD Logistics would fully access Taobao Tmall platform, and platform merchants would be able to choose JD Logistics as a service provider. The latest news shows that the docking system between the two parties has been basically completed. Many Taobao and Tmall merchants have chosen JD Logistics as their service provider, and consumers can also check JD Logistics' trajectory in the app.
