China Securities Network News (Reporter Zheng Junting) Starbucks recently announced the adjustment of its leadership structure in the China region. Starting from September 30th, Molly Liu has been appointed as the CEO of Starbucks China, while Belinda Wong will continue to serve as the Chairman of Starbucks China.
Starbucks announced that in 2023, Liu Wenjuan was appointed as the co CEO of Starbucks China, and together with the then Chairman and CEO of Starbucks China, Wang Jingying, they will jointly lead the business in the Chinese market. In the future, Liu Wenjuan will be responsible for leading the company's operations in the Chinese market, focusing on driving sustained growth in the Chinese business. This thoughtful plan demonstrates the company's commitment to gradually and smoothly transferring leadership in the China region to a new generation of successors.
Currently, Starbucks has over 7300 stores and 60000 partners in more than 900 county-level markets in China.
