On August 24th, sources familiar with the matter said that senior media executive Edgar Bronfman Jr.'s plan for Paramount Global includes partnering with tech companies such as Amazon or Apple to improve its streaming TV business.
Recently, media reported that Edgar Bronfman Jr. has submitted a revised offer seeking to acquire National Amusements and a minority stake in Paramount for $6 billion. On Monday evening local time, Edgar Bronfman Jr. officially joined the bidding with a bid of $4.3 billion.
