On August 17th, Starbucks was sued by a company for the third time. Balmuccino accused Starbucks of stealing the concept of coffee lipstick and lip gloss from its lip gloss set launched in April 2019. The company began to develop coffee flavored lipstick in 2016, promoted it at a meeting of Starbucks New York Office in October 2018, and provided prototype and other confidential information. Starbucks did not immediately provide a comment.
