Norway's $1.7 trillion sovereign wealth fund slightly reduced its holdings of Meta, Novo Nordisk, and Asma Holdings. In the first half of the year, Norway's $1.7 trillion sovereign wealth fund reduced its holdings of Meta Platforms Inc., Novo Nordisk, and Asma Holdings, all of which are among its top ten holdings. According to the latest investment list released on Tuesday, Norges Bank Investment Management (NBIM)'s stake in Meta has dropped to 1.18%, valued at approximately $15.1 billion as of mid year, a decrease from its 1.22% stake at the end of 2023. The fund held 1.75% of Novo Nordisk's shares at mid year, down from 1.87% as of December 31 last year; During the same period, the shareholding in ASML decreased from 2.61% to 2.54%. This Norwegian fund traditionally updates its portfolio content once a year, but will now update it twice a year. As of the end of June, Apple, Microsoft, and Nvidia were the three largest equity investments of the fund.
