On August 4th, local time, Berkshire Hathaway A released its second quarter financial report. As of June 30th, 2024, approximately 72% of its total fair value equity investments were concentrated in American Express, Apple Inc., Bank of America, Chevron, and Coca Cola. The company disclosed that as of the end of the second quarter, its holdings of Apple Inc. were worth $84.2 billion, a decrease of nearly 50% from 790 million shares in the first quarter to about 400 million shares.
