At the NVIDIA shareholders meeting, shareholders approved all 12 nominated directors, approved the executive compensation plan, and agreed to appoint PwC as the company's auditor. According to the document, Nvidia CEO Huang Renxun received a compensation package worth approximately $34 million in the 2024 fiscal year, which is 60% higher than the 2023 fiscal year. Shareholders have also passed a measure to change some issues that previously required a two-thirds majority vote to simple majority voting, including unjustified removal of directors and amendments to the company's articles of association. Huang Renxun answered several questions during the approximately 30 minute meeting. He mentioned that the company's advantage in artificial intelligence (AI) chips stems from a bet made more than 10 years ago - since then, the company has invested billions of dollars in funding and the resources of thousands of engineers. Huang Renxun stated that he is very optimistic about the prospects of the Blackwell platform released in March. "The Blackwell architecture platform is likely to become the most successful product in Nvidia's history and the entire history of computers."
