TSMC reported that Collaborative Creative Electronics has won a major order for SK Hynix chips. Following exclusive contract manufacturing of AI chips by technology giants such as NVIDIA and AMD, TSMC recently reported that Collaborative Creative Electronics has won a key basic interface chip order for the next-generation HBM4. On the other hand, SK Hynix has announced plans to compete with TSMC in the HBM4 and advanced packaging business opportunities. The industry has pointed out that Creativity has won SK Hynix's HBM4 chip commissioned design order, and it is expected that the design will be finalized as soon as next year. TSMC will use 12 nanometers and 5 nanometers for production, depending on high efficiency or low power consumption. It is expected that the commissioned design (NRE) project will significantly contribute to revenue and enter the HBM supply chain in the second half of the year.
