On June 18th, in response to market rumors that TSMC's Nanjing factory has obtained an indefinite exemption authorization from the US Department of Commerce, TSMC's official response to the news interview stated that the US Department of Commerce has recently issued a "Verified End User (VEU)" authorization to TSMC (Nanjing) Co., Ltd.
