On June 14th, Cummins' zero carbon emissions business brands Accelera, Daimler Bus USA Holdings, and PACCAR announced the completion of a joint venture, with the new company named Amplify Cell Technologies. Amplify has appointed Kel Kearns as its CEO and will begin construction of a 21 gigawatt hour (GWh) factory in Marshall County, Mississippi, with plans to start production in 2027. Accelera、 Daimler Trucks and Peca each own 30% of the shares in the joint venture. As a technology partner, Yiwei Lithium holds a 10% stake.
