On Tuesday (June 11th), Morgan Stanley analyst Ryan Brinkman wrote in a report to clients that Tesla's robotaxi (autonomous taxi) business is unlikely to achieve profitability in the short term and may disappoint some investors in the company. Brinkman wrote in the report, "We expect Tesla to showcase a robotaxi concept car on August 8th, and may also launch a supporting application, revealing some information related to its expected business model. However, we anticipate that substantial revenue is unlikely to be generated in the coming years."
