On June 4th, Western Oil Company and Berkshire Hathaway Energy Renewables announced that they have formed a joint venture to use TerraLithium's direct lithium extraction (DLE) and related technologies to extract and commercialize high-purity lithium compounds from geothermal brine.
As introduced in the article, TerraLithium is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Western Oil Company, with patented technology for direct lithium extraction, which has the potential to turn lithium containing brine into a reliable source of high-purity lithium supply. (Huo Xingyu)
