Securities Times e-Company News: Recently, STMicroelectronics (ST) and Geely Automobile Group announced that they have signed a long-term supply agreement for silicon carbide (SiC) devices, further accelerating the cooperation of SiC devices on the basis of their original cooperation. According to the agreement, STMicroelectronics will provide SiC power devices for multiple brands of mid to high end pure electric vehicles under Geely Automobile, helping Geely improve electric vehicle performance, accelerate charging speed, extend range, and deepen the transformation of new energy vehicles. In addition, Geely and ST have established an innovation joint laboratory based on long-term cooperation in multiple automotive application fields, to exchange and explore innovative solutions in related fields such as automotive electronics/electrical (E/E) architecture (such as in car entertainment, intelligent cockpit systems), advanced driving assistance (ADAS), and new energy vehicles.
