Fu Bingfeng, Executive Vice President and Secretary General of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), stated in an interview with China Daily that implementing automotive data processing security is a new starting point for the development of intelligent vehicles. In the first batch, all six domestic and foreign automobile companies that submitted for inspection independently signed up to participate, including Tesla, the only foreign-funded automobile company participating in this round of inspection. "The association upholds the principle of treating all car models submitted for inspection equally. Tesla participated in the first batch of inspections and seized an opportunity. Tesla clearly sees that the consumption trend of autonomous driving will take the lead in the Chinese market in the future." (China Daily)
