On the afternoon of December 4th, Tesla Vice President Tao Lin posted on Weibo that the Model 3 has become a double five-star model in the "China Electric Vehicle Fire Safety Index" and "Automotive Fire Safety Certification". In the past six years, Tesla has never been recalled globally due to "fire risk". Based on Tesla's vehicle safety report and data released by the National Fire Protection Association, the probability of Tesla catching fire is only 1/8 of that of a gasoline vehicle, which also includes cases of building fires and arson.
