On October 17th local time, the Office of Defects Investigation (ODI) of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) launched an investigation into Tesla's Fully Automated Driving (FSD) feature, as the United States investigates the FSD software of over 2.4 million Tesla vehicles involved in a collision accident.
