On April 18th, at the JD 618 Business Ecology Partner Conference, JD Group CEO Xu Ran stated that JD will invest the most resources to upgrade in the three core areas of traffic ecology, AI technology, and service capabilities. Through a series of support measures, JD will achieve the goal of over 150000 small and medium-sized businesses increasing their sales in JD 618 by over 50% year-on-year, while also increasing the number of businesses selling over a million by over 100% year-on-year.
It is reported that after JD launched the "Spring Dawn Plan" at the beginning of last year, it has attracted a large number of new merchants to join by continuously simplifying the entry process of merchants, reducing store opening costs, improving business efficiency, and providing traffic support. JD.com stated that last month, the number of effective stores for third-party merchants on the platform exceeded one million.
On June 18th this year, at the level of traffic rules, JD.com will closely associate "store star", "price star", "product service star" and other identifiers with the search and promotion mechanism. Star tags will be displayed throughout the search results page, product details page, shopping cart, and other links, allowing merchants with good products, low prices, and good services to gain more certainty and exposure. As long as merchants can provide users with a high-quality experience, JD.com will provide unlimited traffic support.
In terms of technology, this year JD 618 will deeply integrate technological innovations such as big models and AIGC into the entire chain of business operations, helping businesses achieve significant cost reductions and exponential efficiency improvements. In addition, the platform has launched a series of AI tools for free and open to merchants to use, providing services such as entry, graphic and text production, video generation, and intelligent customer service for all merchants, helping them save operating costs.
