Multinational enterprise Dow Corporation showcased comprehensive material science solutions at the 6th China International Import Expo and signed strategic cooperation agreements in multiple fields, fully supporting the "Zero Carbon Import Expo" initiative of the Expo, promoting the development of circular economy, and helping China and its customers achieve high-quality and sustainable development with unprecedented breadth and strength.
This year is the sixth consecutive year that Dow has participated in the CIIE. Dow focuses on the concept of sustainability and focuses on the five major areas of circular economy, new energy, consumption upgrading, green buildings, and low-carbon transformation, bringing nearly 50 innovative material science solutions, of which 11 are global, Asia Pacific, or China's first.
Dow also held 10 strategic cooperation memorandum signing ceremonies during the CIIE. Among them, Dow and Zhenkunxing Industrial Supermarket (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. signed a memorandum of cooperation worth 300 million US dollars on the 5th, becoming the "first day of signing" of this year's CIIE. The former will provide a cumulative organic silicon product of about 300 million US dollars to the latter for sales in the Chinese market, and provide corresponding products and services. Both parties will also jointly expand the high value-added and high growth organic silicon downstream market in electronics, transportation, new energy, packaging, construction, and other fields. This is the second time that Dow and Zhenkunxing have signed a cooperation memorandum at the CIIE based on their successful cooperation.
On the morning of November 6th, Dow Corporation also launched a recycling practice and publicity education project on the booth with the Ministry of Commerce, the Import and Export Bureau, and industry chain partners, titled "Waste free Import and Export, and Good Governance and Education". This project will be held during the CIIE and fully supports the "Green Exhibition, Zero Carbon CIIE" initiative. Through the CIIE platform, we will strengthen plastic recycling publicity and education, promote plastic waste management, and advocate the concept of circular economy. In addition, Dow also signed a memorandum of cooperation for 2024 with the China Material Recycling Association and the "Love Classification · Love Recycling" business under the Everything New Group, aiming to explore flexible plastic packaging recycling and utilization models that are in line with China's national conditions by strengthening consumer education and actively expanding industry chain cooperation.

At this year's CIIE, Dow's exhibition area is 300 square meters, showcasing advanced material technology through rich physical displays and digital means, covering the Chinese market and five major areas of consumer concern. Among them, advanced technologies such as new liquid cooling technology applied in cloud computing and data centers, high-pressure and ultra-high pressure cross-linked polyethylene insulation materials, and liquefied gas transportation solutions were showcased in low-carbon transformation areas. The new generation of immersion cooling fluid is a breakthrough organic silicon liquid cooling technology for ultra large scale cloud computing and enterprise level data centers. This technology achieves excellent heat dissipation performance while reducing energy consumption and operating costs, thereby improving energy efficiency and sustainability of the data center.
