On December 10th, it was announced that Omnicom Group has agreed to acquire Interpublish Group. According to the agreement, Interpublish shareholders will receive 0.344 shares of Hongmeng Group for every share they hold. After the transaction is completed, shareholders of Hongmeng Group will hold 60.6% of the shares of the merged company, while shareholders of Interpower will hold 39.4% of the shares. John Wren will continue to serve as Chairman and CEO of Hongmeng Group, while Phil Angelstrom will continue to serve as CFO. Philippe Krakow and Daryl Simm will serve as Co Presidents and Chief Operating Officers of Macronix Group.
