Apple may launch low-priced AirPods this year. According to supply chain analyst Jeff Pu, Apple plans to release lower priced AirPods headphones later this year. Jeff Pu stated in a research report by Haitong International Securities that the new low-priced AirPods will be manufactured by a subsidiary of Foxconn. He pointed out that Foxconn will start increasing the assembly of AirPods at its Indian factory in the fourth quarter of this year. Jeff Pu also expects Apple to update AirPods Max later this year. Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman previously stated that the only update of the new AirPods Max, apart from a possible new color scheme, is the USB-C charging interface.
