On March 23rd, ASML supplier Newways announced on Friday that it will build a new factory in Klang, Malaysia. The factory will start production in the fourth quarter of 2024, thereby enhancing the company's production capacity in Asia. The company stated in a statement that it will focus on developing and producing advanced modules and cabinets for some of the world's most renowned companies in the semiconductor field. A spokesperson for Neways stated that the investment size cannot be disclosed, but the company plans to expand its business in Malaysia to 200 employees. (Reuters)
