On March 21st, a reporter from Securities Daily learned from Ideal Automobile that Li Xiang, Chairman and CEO of Ideal Automobile, issued an internal letter to all employees, reflecting on the sales rhythm of its first pure electric vehicle model MEGA and proposing solutions to the current problems faced by Ideal Automobile.
In the internal letter, Li Xiang candidly pointed out the rhythm issues that exist in the Ideal MEGA project. He stated that the company made a mistake in the operation of Ideal MEGA, mistakenly advancing the project from 0 to 1 (commercial validation period) as from 1 to 10 (high-speed development period). This overly impatient approach not only violates the basic laws of business development, but also brings a series of problems to the company.
Li Xiang also criticized the excessive focus on sales and competition within the company. He pointed out that this mentality of pursuing sales and competition from top to bottom has made the company's desires exceed value, leading to a significant decrease in user value and operational efficiency that they were originally good at.
To address these issues, Li Xiang proposed a solution. Firstly, the company will patiently operate Ideal MEGA at a pace from 0 to 1, refocusing on the core user group. At the same time, the company needs to reduce its expectations and desires for sales and return to a healthy growth model. "The company will pay more attention to the improvement of user value and operational efficiency, rather than just pursuing sales and market share growth. This will help the company regain its original intention and return to the business track of user demand and value orientation." Li Xiang said.
