According to CCTV News, after the Boeing 737 MAX aircraft crashed into the air, the Federal Aviation Administration of the United States conducted a review of Boeing's manufacturing process for the aircraft, and out of 89 review items, as many as 33 were found to be unsatisfactory. On the 12th local time, Boeing promised to take improvement measures.
Stan Deere, CEO of Boeing Civil Aircraft Group, a subsidiary of Boeing, stated in an internal email on the 12th that the "vast majority" of violations discovered by the Federal Aviation Administration involve workers not following Boeing's prescribed procedures. In response, Boeing will "collaborate with every employee found to have non-compliance issues during the review to ensure they fully understand work instructions and procedures.". Deere also stated that Boeing will conduct weekly compliance checks on all work teams in the Lenton plant area.
