Currently, the number of new energy vehicles in China is continuously increasing, and the corresponding charging infrastructure is also maintaining rapid growth. However, it still faces many challenges such as limited land resources, insufficient power capacity, and long investment return cycles. At the same time, user charging behavior has disorderly and discrete characteristics, which can easily cause instantaneous overload operation of the power grid, and the current structural contradictions in the charging market are still prominent.
In this context, by leveraging the autonomous driving capability of vehicles, autonomous charging of unmanned vehicles at night can be achieved, and the electricity load can be scaled up from peak daytime periods to low nighttime periods. This is expected to significantly improve the supply-demand contradiction during peak daytime periods, enhance the utilization rate of charging infrastructure, and fully leverage the advantages of abundant and low-cost nighttime electricity. However, there is still a lack of relevant policy and regulatory support.
In this regard, He Xiaopeng suggests exploring the establishment of policies and regulations for low-speed unmanned driving in limited scenarios, carrying out pilot applications of low-speed unmanned driving and energy supplementation at night, realizing the transition from "finding piles for people" to "finding piles for cars", shifting the scale of electricity consumption from daytime peak periods to nighttime low periods, and transforming charging from active behavior to automated roaming services, thus forming a win-win situation for the power grid, users, charging station operators, and vehicle enterprises. The relevant regulations and pilot programs will also apply to scenarios such as autonomous parking and low-speed logistics for users at night.
It is worth noting that the vehicle mounted power battery has the property of mobile energy storage and can interact with the power grid as a large-scale, distributed and flexible resource, further exerting the power grid regulation ability of peak shaving and valley filling, and playing an important role in real-time balance and safe operation of the power grid. However, the current progress of car network interaction is slow, with many checkpoints, and the main problem is the lack of clear business models and related technical standards.
He Xiaopeng suggests promoting the top-level design of vehicle network interaction, building a mature business model, unifying relevant standards, exploring more application scenarios, accelerating market-oriented promotion, and quickly developing a standard system for each link of vehicle network interaction, clarifying the trading mechanism of the electricity market, and accelerating the construction of a mature business model for vehicle network interaction, forming stable profit expectations for all participants.
Facing the blue ocean market of flying cars, He Xiaopeng believes that flying cars, as advanced intelligent transportation tools, are becoming a hot topic in the field of science and technology innovation that countries such as China, the United States, Japan, and Europe are competing to enter, and have entered a period of explosive development. China is at the forefront of the world in the research and development of amphibious flying vehicles, with broad prospects for the development of low altitude economy. However, as a new species, flying cars cannot meet the urgent market demand due to their corresponding product regulations and certification efficiency.
Therefore, He Xiaopeng also proposed three development suggestions. Firstly. We need to accelerate the forward-looking top-level design and planning of flying cars in product management, product certification, and standard system design, and promote the internationalization process of Chinese standards. There are three specific measures: firstly, to establish a framework of technical standards for flying vehicles and promote the internationalization process of Chinese standards; Secondly, promote the standardization of airworthiness certification work; Thirdly, increase the investment of airworthiness certification personnel and resources from the authority, and strengthen the construction of regulatory certification system.
Secondly, He Xiaopeng suggests building a comprehensive operational system for flying vehicles, supporting the large-scale application of products from multiple aspects such as driver qualifications, airspace, and operational management. There are three core measures, including establishing a flying car driving qualification certification and training system; Accelerate the opening of low altitude airspace and improve the utilization of airspace resources; Establish a unified regulatory command platform and low altitude airspace management system to adapt to the diverse and large-scale operation and development needs of low altitude flight activities.
Finally, He Xiaopeng believes that reference should be made to the development experience of the new energy vehicle industry, and industrial development policies and resource guarantees should be coordinated to promote the high-speed development of the aviation vehicle industry. The core measures include conducting special research to support the development of the flying automobile industry, establishing an industry guidance fund, and supporting the tackling of key core technologies; Strengthen land security, coordinate infrastructure and resource support; Carry out application exploration, establish demonstration zones for flying car operations, and establish flying car industry institutions to accelerate the construction of industrial ecosystems; Strengthen commercial support, coordinate a package of financial tools in the early stage of product commercialization, and support the promotion and application of flying cars in four aspects.
