US electric vehicle manufacturer Fisker is reportedly in talks with Nissan to seek capital injection, according to insiders. The company is in talks with Nissan and is seeking capital injection after issuing a going concern warning. On February 29th local time, Fisker announced plans to lay off 15% of employees and stated in a statement that if funds are not increased, the company's existing capital may not be sufficient to support development in the next 12 months. The CEO of the company, Henrik Fisker, stated that they are in talks with another "large car manufacturer" regarding financing matters.
