On February 26th, New Oriental released a statement regarding its "Homecoming Plan", stating that the plan was first proposed in August 2022, mainly targeting the development needs of emerging businesses such as Oriental Selection and New Oriental Culture and Tourism. It aims to resettle old employees for reemployment and does not involve subject training in compulsory education. This plan is not aimed at soliciting opinions on the recently released Regulations on the Management of Off campus Training. New Oriental, as always, firmly supports the major decision and deployment of the central government's "double reduction". The original subject training in compulsory education has been rectified as required, transformed into a non-profit entity, and separated from the listed entity.
