Recently, Jeff Bezos, founder and executive chairman of Amazon Inc. in the United States, recently sold off the company's stocks on a large scale, attracting market attention. According to the latest documents from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Bezos sold approximately 14 million Amazon shares worth approximately $2.37 billion between last Thursday and this Tuesday, with a selling price per share ranging from $166 to $171.
SEC documents also show that since February 7th, Bezos has sold approximately 36 million shares of Amazon stock in three installments, each cashing out around $2 billion. The recent sell-off brought the total number of shares he sold to 50 million, with a total value of approximately $8.5 billion. Earlier this month, Bezos just disclosed a plan to reduce its holdings of up to 50 million Amazon stocks by January 31, 2025. Now, in just 9 trading days, the reduction plan has been completed.
Currently, despite Bezos selling stocks on a large scale, he still holds approximately 938 million shares of Amazon stock.
