On February 21st, sources informed that Microsoft is developing a new network card that can improve the performance of its Maia artificial intelligence chip and potentially reduce the company's reliance on Nvidia. Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella has appointed Pradeep Sindhu, co-founder of communication equipment giant Zhanbo Network, to lead the network card project. Microsoft acquired Singible, a data startup in Sindhu, last year.
