On February 14th, Sony Group announced that it will "actively consider any other opportunities" to expand its business in the Indian entertainment market after its Indian subsidiary failed to merge with local broadcasting company Zee. "In the long run, India remains a promising market for Sony Entertainment content," Sony President, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Financial Officer Hiroki Totoki said at the financial report.
