On February 9th, sources informed that Nvidia is creating a new business unit focused on designing custom chips, including advanced AI processors, for cloud computing companies and other enterprises.
It is reported that Nvidia has met with representatives from Amazon, Meta, Microsoft, Google, and OpenAI to discuss custom chip matters. According to insiders, in addition to data center chips, Nvidia is also seeking customers in telecommunications, automotive, and electronic gaming. (Reuters)
