On February 1st, Musk announced on the X platform that Tesla will immediately hold a shareholder vote to move its registered address to Texas, USA.
Earlier, a Delaware judge ruled that Tesla CEO Elon Musk's $56 billion (approximately RMB 402.5 billion) compensation plan was invalid due to the company's board of directors' failure to ensure fairness in the compensation plan.
Subsequently, a survey conducted by Musk on the X platform showed that 87.1% of voting users supported Tesla changing its registered address to Texas. During the 24-hour voting period, approximately 1.1 million X users participated in the voting. Tesla is currently registered and established in Delaware, USA, with its actual headquarters located in Texas.
