Toyota Group's global sales in 2023 (including subsidiaries Daihatsu and Hino Motors) increased by 7.2% year-on-year, reaching a record of 11.2 million vehicles. In contrast, Volkswagen Group's delivery volume in 2023 increased by 12% year-on-year to 9.24 million vehicles. As a result, Toyota Group's car sales have ranked first in the world for four consecutive years.
