Netflix Co CEO Ted Sarandos stated on January 23 local time during a fourth quarter earnings conference call that although Netflix has invested in obtaining exclusive broadcasting rights to WWE's flagship program WWE Raw in the United States, it does not mean that Netflix's sports market strategy has changed. Sarandos refers to WWE as "sports and entertainment", which is different from traditional sports.
