At the meeting, in response to the Boeing 737 MAX 9 aircraft accident, Boeing CEO David Calhoun stated that Boeing must first acknowledge its mistakes and will handle this issue in a completely transparent manner.
Calhoun stated that Boeing will cooperate with the National Transportation Safety Commission of the United States, which is investigating the accident, to identify the cause of the accident and work with the Federal Aviation Administration to ensure appropriate inspections of the Boeing 737 MAX 9 aircraft.
