Airbnb announced on December 5th that Chief Financial Officer Dave Stephenson will assume the newly established position of Chief Business Officer, effective January 2024.
Airbnb CEO Brian Chesky stated that Stephenson's appointment to the new position marks a turning point for the company, as it will begin to focus on long-term growth of existing and new businesses, As the Chief Business Officer, Dave will be fully responsible for our core expansion strategy, which includes driving international expansion, increasing global landlord supply (across existing and new businesses), and leading all business and enterprise development activities of Airbnb.
