The final agreement text of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for fiscal year 2025 has been released, and the Biosafety Act has not been included. On December 7, 2024, the Military Committees of both houses of Congress released the final agreement text of the NDAA, which takes into account proposals from both the House of Representatives and the Senate. The latest version of NDAA shows that the Biosafety Act is not included. According to the procedure, this version must be signed by the President of the United States before it can take effect.
