Dallas News: A Southwest Airlines plane was hit by bullets on the tarmac of Rafield Airport in Dallas, Texas on the evening of the 15th local time, but fortunately no one was injured.
Reuters quoted a spokesperson for Southwest Airlines as saying that the incident involved a bullet that hit the right side of the aircraft's cockpit under flight number 2494. The flight was originally scheduled to fly from Dallas to Indianapolis. At the time of the incident, the passenger had already boarded the plane and it was preparing to take off. At present, there are no reports of casualties, and law enforcement agencies have received notification that the aircraft has been decommissioned.
CBS quoted a spokesperson from Rafield Airport as saying that the plane was shot and damaged before returning to the boarding gate and passengers disembarked. The runway is temporarily closed and has now reopened.
