Yihang Intelligent EH216-S unmanned eVTOL completed its first manned flight in Thailand. On November 8th, Yihang Intelligent announced that its unmanned electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft EH216-S completed its first unmanned manned flight at the famous Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) in central Bangkok, Thailand, marking Yihang's expansion of flight footprint to 18 countries and creating a new milestone. In addition, the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) plans to open flight tests for certified eVTOLs throughout Thailand, and the EH216-S program, which has obtained airworthiness certification, will conduct flight tests in Thailand and conduct commercial flight operations in some regions of Thailand such as Phuket and Koh Samui by 2025, jointly promoting Thailand's low altitude opening and air traffic market.
