On October 29th, Goldman Sachs established a new office in Saudi Arabia. The company has been operating in Saudi Arabia since 2008 and will relocate to the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) next year.
KAFD has been idle for many years until the Saudi sovereign wealth fund took over in 2018. Afterwards, some government entities including public investment funds and local exchanges entered, and more and more foreign companies followed suit. (Bloomberg)
