According to Bloomberg, technology journalist Mark Gurman revealed in his "Power On" newsletter that Apple plans to launch a new smart home display next year, which may have a design reminiscent of the iMac G4 from twenty years ago.
Technology journalist Gulman stated in the latest newsletter that rumors suggest that Apple's upcoming smart home display next year may adopt the appearance of the iMac G4.
Gurman said that Apple's home smart display may be launched as early as 2025, and the device will be equipped with a square display screen, the size of two iPhones placed side by side. The new smart home display screen will obviously be very small, with a square display screen placed diagonally on a small base, reminiscent of the circular bottom of the iMac G4 decades ago. It may have speakers, which essentially makes it a HomePod with a screen, and there have been rumors that it may be one of Apple's future smart home products. Gulman did not disclose the price of this device, but he has hinted at an "affordable" square display smart home device in the past.
