On November 4th, Ganesh Iyer, CEO of NIO Motors in the United States, disclosed the details of the company's entry into the US market. He stated that the company will not seek tax incentives by establishing factories in the United States for localized production, but will instead import domestically produced high-end electric vehicles from China. Yi Gaitian also stated that the cost of building a factory in the United States is too high, and the high-end models of the brand are "too expensive" to receive subsidies no matter where they are produced. NIO plans to expand its business to 25 countries and regions worldwide, including the United States, in 2025. (Phoenix Network Technology)
