According to previous reports, Typhoon Shanshan, the 10th typhoon of 2024, arrived near the southern coast of Kyushu Island in Japan on the morning of the 28th local time. It is expected to continue northward and make landfall in Kagoshima Prefecture, the southernmost part of Kyushu Island, in the early hours of the 29th local time.
