Boeing is working hard to achieve its goal of restoring the monthly production of 737 MAX to 38 aircraft. The National Transportation Safety Board held a hearing on the January 5th Boeing 737 MAX 9 aircraft accident on August 6th local time. Elizabeth Lund, Senior Vice President of Quality Control at Boeing Commercial Aircraft Group, stated that after the accident, Boeing's 737 MAX monthly production has dropped to single digits and is currently maintained at around 20 aircraft per month. The company is working hard to achieve its goal of restoring monthly production to 38 aircraft.
