According to BHP Billiton's official WeChat account, BHP Billiton has approved the construction of the Jansen Potassium Mine Phase II project located in Saskatchewan, Canada, with a total investment of $4.9 billion. Previously, BHP Billiton approved $5.7 billion (approximately CAD 7.5 billion/RMB 41.721 billion) in August 2021 for the first phase of the Jansen potassium mine project, with an initial investment of $4.5 billion.
