TSMC reportedly seeks to acquire a Guntronics factory at a price higher than Micron's. TSMC recently sent personnel to conduct on-site inspections of the Guntronics Tainan factory, hoping to cooperate with Guntronics to expand advanced packaging layout. Compared to Micron, TSMC's conditions for innovation are quite attractive. Both Innolux and TSMC have stated that they do not comment on market rumors. Gunchuang will make a decision on TSMC and Micron's bid for the Tainan factory as early as this week.
